1) GMs may Extend the Contract of any one player on their roster, by one contract year, at the cost of 20 BLBs times the number of consecutive years the player has been on the team.
**If you are unsure of how many years a player has been on your roster, just email or text me and I will let you know **
2) GMs may place a Transition Tag on one player heading for RFA (with 0 contract years).
* A player with a Transition Tag placed on him requires that the Tagging Owner place the opening bid for this player at 20 BLBs.
* If another team acquires a Transition tagged player, that team must pay compensation of one (1) SECOND ROUND draft pick in the next annual Rookie Draft to the team that placed the tag on the player.
3) GMs may place a Franchise Tag on one player heading for RFA (with 0 contract years).
* A player with a Franchise Tag placed on him requires that the Tagging Owner place the opening bid for this player at 50 BLBs.
* If another team acquires a Franchise tagged player, that team must pay compensation of one (1) FIRST ROUND draft pick in the next annual Rookie Draft to the team that placed the tag on the player.
