I would like to suggest a rule change. Instead of voting for Pro-Bowl players in our league based on the NFL's NFC and AFC criteria, why not use our two conferences as the separators
UNITED FOOTBALL CONFERENCE LIBERTY FOOTBALL CONFERENCE
and if it's not already in place, an owner can not vote for any of his own players

Obviously, I didn't see how it played out last year but it makes sense to me...why not change it?

That's a great suggestion. Be sure to bring it up in February for our off-season voting process and we can take it from there.

i can't remember how it all broke down last year, but it just makes sense to customize OUR probowl to mirror OUR league instead on the NFL

I think we did do it last year pretty much the way Kyle is proposing. Both of our conferences had its own Pro Bowl team, and the owners got blbs for their players making it. In fact, the original rules had the 2 conferences playing a Pro Bowl game against each the week after the Blitz Bowl, but that never happened.
As far as who was nominated and on the ballot, I believe the commish just took the top 5 scoring players at each position in each conference after Week 10, and the top 5 team records for GM of the Year. However, as I recall there was no restriction on voting for your own players or yourself for GMOY, if they were on the ballot.

Do we have a list of who made the pro bowl last year, cus I'm almost positive we used the NFC and AFC as our dividing line, not the two RZB conferences --------------- and I do want our league to be run LIKE the NFL. I don't see the NFL using another leagues conferences to determine their ProBowl qualifiers

Do we have a list of who made the pro bowl last year, cus I'm almost positive we used the NFC and AFC as our dividing line, not the two RZB conferences. Take a look at: www.tbl2.com/BLB.htmlIf you want to track through it, you’ll see 2 QBs, WRs, TEs, etc. made the ProBowl – one each from the two RZB conferences as they existed last year. Although the conference alignment differs this year, you’ll see that GURU’s New England DST got 5 blbs for making the Pro Bowl, and Beaver Valley Blindside got 5 blbs for the Pittsburgh DST. Both are AFC DSTs, but the team GURU took over & BVB were in different RZB conferences. It was the same deal with QBs Tom Brady/Big Ben & WRs Randy Moss/Braylon Edwards. ....Of course, there can be only One GMOY.............

So, we are doing the ProBowl players by OUR conferences, not one from the NFC and one from the AFC.
Problem solved.
