Well, I did some analysis on the positions, both with the 10-pt "pile-on" bonus, and with a 3-pt bonus - you can see their points, side-by-side in the following Excel spreadsheet: www.tbl2.com/PileOn_Points_Compare.xlsThe changes appear to have impacted the WR's more than QB's or RB's, but nothing really drastic.

Well, based on the spreadsheet, here are the number at each position for the 2007 total points.
TOP 10 QB's.....5 RB's......2 WR's.....3 TOP 25 QB's.....10 RB's......5 WR's.....10 TOP 50 QB's.....16 RB's......14 WR's.....20 TOP 100 QB's.....22 RB's......32 WR's.....45
We're never going to have a perfect balance, but this is still pretty close.

settle down. It won't make a difference. No matter what the rules are, I'll still manage to build a dominate team. Then you'll all have to change the rules once again to even remain competitive.
That's OK, I love a good challenge
but don't think for a minute I didn't draft and trade for the team I have now, based on the scoring system we had in place. I wanted to stock pile guys who had a ton of balls thrown their way (do I need to add you to my list Gametime)
I did just that.

I have no draft picks... boo hoo... I have a coach..... I want it.... boo hoo I have only one RB...... boo hoo I want top WR's...... boo hoo I don't want bonuses for postions.... boo hoo... just to name a few.... I think we need a rule that says his team starts with a 20 point advantage each week, since obviously rules, old or new, only affect HIS team and not one other member of the league....

For 2008, the "pile-on" bonuses will be reduced from 10 pts to 3 pts. The Rules will be updated as follows:
15.10 Passing scoring rules: 15.12 QBs shall be awarded 10 3 bonus points for reaching 30 completions in a game.
15.30 Receiving scoring rules: 15.31 5pts awarded for a receiving TD, 1pt awarded for a receiving 2pt conversion, 1pt awarded for each completion, 10 3 bonus points awarded for reaching 10 completions in a game
Thank you all for your input.
