Let's talk about the draft.
Currently scheduled for Sunday August 17, 2008. There have been some concerns about the previously established 12:00 noon start-time, so I'd like to see if we can come to a consensus on a good start time for this draft.
Keep in mind - we will be doing the 4-round Rookie/UFA draft, as well as the IDP Auction draft. I'd like to do both of them on the same day, if at all possible, especially since we will all be together at one sitting.
Your thoughts?

Here is my proposed set up for the IDP Auction Draft:
• The IDP Auction Draft will be hosted on FantasyAuctioneer.com • Each GM will be given 100 BLB’s to be used for the IDP Auction Draft. • A max of 100 BLB’s can be used for the IDP Auction Draft. • Any unused BLB’s from this IDP Auction Draft will carry over to that GM’s vault. • Each GM must fill out a roster of 9 IDP’s • Minimum of 2 players per position. • Maximum of 4 players per position. • GM’s will take turns nominating a player for bid. ......Minimum bid is 1 BLB • GM’s will have 10 seconds to increase the bid amount should they want to bid on the nominated player. • Anytime a bid is placed, the 10-second clock starts over. • Once a high bid stands for the entire 10 seconds, that player is awarded to the GM with the highest bid. • The next GM will nominate a new player, and the process will continue, until all 16 teams have filled out a roster of 9 IDP’s.
During the season, teams cannot exceed the 9 IDP player limit, but this does not preclude you from dropping a player for another player (due to injury, lack of production, etc). All other rules of adding/dropping of players are in effect.

• Minimum of 2 players per position. • Maximum of 4 players per position. I'm already questioning myself on this piece. My initial thought was to prevent owners from stock-piling on players, while maintaining some sense of balance.... but, should that really even matter? Since we are all drafting with the same amount of BLB's, I think this could probably be lifted. I'd like to hear from you all on this though.

I would not put limits at all. If owners want to stack up, let them. Owners will just have to remember that if players go down, they better have a backup in place.
