The following protocol must be followed to sign a player off a team’s Practice Squad:
*A team must post on the TBL Forum their intention to sign a player from another team’s Practice Squad. They must list the salary offer.
*The team that has rights to the player has 24 hours to match the offer. Said team must purchase the contract and salary and promote them to the active roster.
*Players claimed from another team’s Practice Squad are required to be placed on the active roster of the claiming roster. Practice Squad players may not be claimed and placed on the claiming team’s Practice Squad within the same season.
*Team may elect to sign players to contracts. They must announce the terms: (salary and contract years) Team putting in the claim must have the cap on contract years available to do this.
*When a player has an offer place on him. It does not become a free agent bidding war. Only the team that has the player on their practice squad has the right to match the offer.
